This is a Low-Cost, High-Value remedy for loose wipers in T1N Sprinter vans. It replaces the thin factory nut with a much larger heavy duty 6061 Aluminum clamping nut that you can adjust depending on how worn your mechanism is. The thin nuts wear the threads and come loose causing the wipers to lose tension on the windshield.

Update: These are now made for 6061 T6 Aluminum Anodized Black with a stainless screws. 

The screw is installed with loc-tire to keep it from backing out. You may need to use the short end of the wrench to move it on first try.
